It started with a problem inside a patrol car. It became an industry.
In the early '90s, our founder Bill Sage watched officers write reports on clipboards balanced on steering wheels. No surface. No organization. Gear sliding on every stop. So he built a desk — a bolt-in platform that gave officers a real workspace. Patent granted 1997. He called it Jotto Desk.
One desk became a console. Consoles led to partitions, gun racks, window armor, cargo systems. Then we moved outside the vehicle — push bumpers, exterior builds. Ten product lines later, we weren't a desk company anymore. Tenhold is the name that fits what we actually do.
